Kenneth L. Young

Executive Vice President Planning/Development & General Counsel

Mr. Young is the lead executive to seek, evaluate and manage prospective new acquisition, affiliation and partnership opportunities in concert with UCH’s strategic development plan. Additionally, he is responsible for the oversight of UCH’s and its subsidiary entities legal, compliance and insurance related matters. Prior to joining UCH, Mr. Young was a partner with the law firm of Roth Bacon Young, Attorneys, where he served as retained corporate counsel for UCH from 1993 — 2005. Mr. Young earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and his Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University College of Law. He is a fellow of the LeadingAge Leadership Academy; a member of LeadingAge’s Core Legal Committee; and a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Association of Corporate Counsel and Ohio State Bar Association. Additionally, Mr. Young serves as a trustee of Marion Technical College, and as a director of The First Citizens National Bank, Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
