United Church Homes offers a scholarship for high school seniors or graduates in Marion or Wyandot counties. Applicants should have academic and personal experience in fields/service to older citizens and personal experience as volunteer, intern or employee of long-term care facilities, assisted living centers, senior housing, churches, community organization and other programs focused on older adults. The full scholarship criteria, requirements and application can be found at the Marion Community Foundation Scholarship Program website. The application period is now open through March 1, 2019.

Applications. One application makes students eligible for all scholarships for which they qualify. Only online applications will be accepted. The application does not have to be completed all at once. Students can save and return to answer more questions or correct information previously entered. The application does require recommendations, essays, financial information and more. Submitting FAFSA information is optional.

We encourage students to start early so these time-consuming items can be completed.

The online application can be found at:

www.MarionCommunityFoundation.org

DEADLINE is Friday, March 1, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. (noon)
