Our Mardi Gras party has turned into our biggest event of the year. Colorful decorations, balloons and beads set the festive mood. A light soup dinner ensured everyone had room for the Sinful Dessert Buffet, featuring fudge, rum cake, pecan bars and other delectable treats.

Everyone received 10 tickets for the popular auction, with prizes including gift certificates and new small appliances.

Our local radio station lent us their Birthday Wheel, where guests try to win “Brookside Bucks” to play black jack. Hugh, a brother of one of our residents, was our very dapper black jack dealer again this year. The big winner of the night received a gift certificate for the local grocery store.

Good food, treats, games and prizes all made for a fun night!
