On April 1, Parkvue Community residents played the game “Going on a Picnic.” Each player chose a letter of the alphabet from a basket and had to name something they would take on a picnic beginning with that letter. After the game, the residents were served a picnic of hamburgers, grilled cheese, ham salad and egg salad. Imagine their surprise to discover all the sandwiches were made out of sweets! April Fools!
