Parkvue Community is proud to announce the new therapy center is now open! Brand new appliances have been added to help patients get back to daily tasks by doing rehabilitation with the items they would use in their own homes. The windows give plenty of natural light and all are looking forward to using the beautifully designed and spacious gym.
Chapel Hill Community just held the second open house giving tours of the newly constructed Kroft Commons. As the tours keep coming, the buildings are nearing completion. Windows and siding are now up, plumbing, cabinets, and fireplaces are now going in, and landscaping is being completed this week. For the proud new owners of a Kroft Commons cottage, colors and carpets are all picked out. Excitement is in the air as the construction is nearing the final phases, and new residents are lined up to move in.
Fairhaven Community is really excited about all the progress in their construction. The entire second floor is nearing the final points of completion. The new dining and nursing station for long term care on the second floor are now finished. Dining services is pleased to offer a new kitchen area featuring commercial equipment, hot and cold buffets for more resident choices, and an open dining concept. The second floor resident rooms are nearly complete in their remodel, with new flooring and paint. The furniture, window treatments, and new bedspreads are on their way, and everyone is looking forward to seeing the new design pulled together. The entire second floor renovation is scheduled to be complete in early October.
Also in October, renovations will begin on the first floor while elsewhere in the building, the Stubbs behavioral and memory care enhancement rooms are in the final stages of planning. The team is looking forward to having the groundwork laid so that the shovels hit the dirt come autumn.
