The Parkvue Community Plants Trees Thanks to
Erie County Community Foundation in Campus Beautification Project

Sandusky, OH (July 19, 2023) The Parkvue Community, an independent living campus for older adults in Sandusky, Ohio, is delighted to announce the successful completion of the cottage tree planting phase for the campus grounds beautification project. The initiative, aimed at enhancing the natural beauty of the community, has seen the planting of 15 trees around ten cottages, thanks to the generous contributions from various donors.

The Parkvue Community would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the Erie County Community Foundation, which provided a $5,000 grant towards the beautification project. This generous contribution has played a pivotal role in the realization of this endeavor. The Parkvue Community also wishes to acknowledge the numerous donors who contributed to the fundraising efforts. Through their support and dedication, nearly $25,000 has been raised to date.

The completion of the cottage tree planting marks an important milestone in the campus grounds beautification project. The lush greenery and vibrant foliage will not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of The Parkvue Community but also create a serene and tranquil environment for its residents.

However, the beautification efforts at The Parkvue Community do not end here. The campus is now focusing on fundraising for the creation of a pollinator garden and general landscaping. These additions will further enrich the natural ecosystem within the community and provide a haven for local pollinators.

The Parkvue Community warmly invites those who are passionate about preserving the environment and supporting the campus beautification project to contribute and make a difference.
