UCH names Dailey executive director at Glenwood Community

 

Linda Daily, new executive director of Glenwood Community

MARIETTA, Ohio – United Church Homes recently selected a new executive director for Glenwood Community in Marietta.

Linda J. Dailey will begin her role at Glenwood April 26. She is excited about her new leadership role at Glenwood and with United Church Homes, a nonprofit, faith-based organization based in Marion, Ohio.

Dailey said she was looking forward to working in her hometown of Marietta and being a part of United Church Homes because of its mission, vision and core values.

In addition, Dailey said she is extremely excited about working at Glenwood, which offers its residents independent living and assisted living services and has an active residents’ association.

“When I first became an administrator I was drawn to the community concept and communities where residents become a family,” Dailey said.

Dailey is an experienced leader who will join UCH after serving as the administrator of Golden Living in Morgantown. Previously, Dailey was the CEO of Fox Run Center for Children and Adolescents and deputy commissioner of operations at the Bureau for Behavioral Health and Health Facilities in West Virginia.

United Church Homes President and CEO Rev. Kenneth Daniel said he is pleased to welcome Dailey to Glenwood and United Church Homes.

“Linda is a welcome addition to United Church Homes. She shares our mission, vision and values and our commitment to seniors,” Daniel said. “She brings the right combination of leadership and expertise that will continue the success of Glenwood and our organization.”

David Zack, director of operations, said Dailey was the best fit for the role because of her ties to the community and her work experience.

“As a resident of Marietta, Linda brings a great deal of local knowledge, energy, enthusiasm and professionalism to Glenwood. Her diverse background and experience will benefit Glenwood’s leadeship team,” Zack said.

Dailey has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio Valley University and a Master of Business Administration degree from West Virginia University.
