Columbus Colony Elderly Care, United Church Homes Announce Partnership

COLUMBUS, Ohio (February 3, 2020) – Columbus Colony for Elderly Care Inc., a not-for-profit licensed skilled nursing community in Westerville, and United Church Homes Inc. (UCH), a national provider of senior living services headquartered in Marion, today announced a new affiliation through United Church Homes Management Inc. (UCHM).

The Columbus Colony Elderly Care Board of Directors approved a three-year agreement with UCHM. Beginning Feb. 1, 2020, UHCM will manage all administrative and healthcare operations at the skilled nursing community that can serve up to 150 residents.

Columbus Colony Elderly Care will maintain full ownership and board governance structure and will benefit from United Church Homes’ extensive operational resources and experience as a multi-site senior living provider.

Columbus Colony Elderly Care specializes in short-term rehabilitation, outpatient therapy and long-term care with a special focus on individuals who are deaf, deaf and blind or hard of hearing. The community is one of only five organizations in the nation offering these specialty services to older adults.

Columbus Colony Elderly Care provides a full range of short-term rehabilitative and therapy services, as well as long-term skilled nursing care for up to 150 residents.
