The Sixth Annual Symposium Recap

We would like to thank those who gathered safely in-person and joined us online for the sixth annual symposium of the Ruth Frost Parker Center for Abundant Aging in August 2021. Throughout the day, we engaged in conversations regarding race and age. During the presentations, our guests online and in-person were able to ask questions of our speakers and panelists to better understand the implications race and age have on the access, treatment and health outcomes of individuals.

Our yearly symposium brings together nationally recognized speakers, experts on aging and an interdisciplinary audience of older adults, students, professionals and community members. Please save the date of our next symposium, September 30, 2022.  Information on this program, speakers and registration will be coming soon. Please keep checking this website for more details!
