After a welcome from Fairhaven Volunteer Coordinator Becky Blocksom, Administrator Lori Marsh shared some of the ways volunteers give back at the community.

“It is your servant mindset and acts of goodwill that bring blessings to the staff, families and residents of Fairhaven,” she said. “Thank you for your commitment to our mission of providing abundant life to our residents. Without your gifts, we would truly be challenged to carry out our full mission.”

Volunteer Service GroupAmong those recognized were the Volunteer Service Group, Teen Impact, Fairhaven Friendship Ambassadors, therapy dogs and their owners and Opening Minds through Art (OMA) volunteers. Fairhaven Community is blessed to have volunteers who fulfill grocery lists for residents, work in the gift shop, lead bell choir, help with weekly worship services and more.

“Each of you bring so much happiness and fill Fairhaven with abundant life, joy and hope,” Marsh said.
