Vohra Wound Certification is a rigorous process that ensures healthcare providers are trained in the latest techniques and technologies to treat chronic wounds. With this certification, our staff has demonstrated expertise in wound management and can provide the most advanced care to our residents with chronic wounds.

This yearly distinction requires the skilled nursing community to meet the following requirements:

  • Less than 1% wound-related hospitalization rate
  • Vohra wound physician rounding regularly
  • Regular team meetings focused on Quality and Process Improvement
  • A designated Vohra wound care certified nurse available seven days a week.

The Fairhaven Community joins only 14 other communities in Ohio with this distinction, including three other United Church Homes communities including The Trinity Community at Fairborn, The Trinity Community at Beavercreek and The Four Winds Community.
