United Church Homes Appoints President in Leadership Restructure

MARION, OH (June 26, 2023) United Church Homes appoints President and announces leadership restructure with the establishment of Radiant Alliance, a groundbreaking partnership with CareSource and Metta Healthcare.

The Board of Directors has made a strategic decision to split the roles of Chief Executive Officer and President. Effective July 1, 2023, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Daniel will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Previously serving as both President and Chief Executive Officer, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Daniel, will dually assume the roles of Chief Executive Officer of United Church Homes and the Chief Executive Officer of Radiant Alliance. In addition to overseeing advancement, engagement and corporate communications, Daniel will continue to guide the strategic direction and performance, propelling the organization toward a future of innovation and excellence.

Kenneth Young, former Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Development and Legal Officer will assume the position of President of United Church Homes. Tasked with leading and managing the day-to-day operations. Young will play a vital role in finance, human resources, senior living operations, asset stewardship, and senior care and housing. Reporting to Daniel, Young’s expertise will ensure the smooth functioning of the organization, as well as continue to execute its strategic growth initiatives.

As part of this leadership restructure, Terry Spitznagel, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer and Michael Hughes, Senior Executive Vice President of Digital Innovation and Transformation, will assume expanded responsibilities to support the successful execution of the initial phase of Radiant Alliance projects.
