United Church Homes Transitions Terry Spitznagel to Chief Operating Officer
Marion, OH (July 10, 2025) United Church Homes (UCH) is pleased to announce the transition of Terry Spitznagel to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this expanded leadership role, Spitznagel will assume full responsibility for the organization’s operations, reporting directly to Kenneth Young, President and CEO of United Church Homes.
Spitznagel joined UCH in 2020 and has since played a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission through strategic growth and innovation. Under her leadership, UCH has expanded its service lines through UCH Management, strengthened care navigation through NaviGuide, and improved operational performance across the organization.

In her new capacity as COO, Spitznagel will lead the organization’s operational strategy and execution across all service areas, ensuring high-quality outcomes, sustainability and continued innovation in care and housing solutions for older adults.
“I’m honored to take on this expanded role and continue working alongside our incredible team to build on the momentum we’ve created,” said Spitznagel. “Together, we’re shaping the future of aging services with compassion, purpose, and a focus on people.”
