The LeadingAge Ziegler 200 rankings, a list of the nation’s 200 largest multi-site non-profit market rate senior living organizations, revealed United Church Homes (UCH) is growing, moving up in the latest report. The Ohio-based senior living provider moved to 38th, up from 41st in 2021.
The annual report ranks UCH sixth in managed communities, 20th in market-rate and managed units, and 22nd in market rate and affordable housing. UCH’s management affiliate, United Church Homes Management jumped up from eighth to sixth on the list of managed providers, with 1,767 units in 14 communities.
The yearly rankings are the most complex ranking system for nonprofit providers in the country. It highlights the largest 200 providers, representing more than 300,000 market-rate units and 1,600 market-rate communities (rental only) across the country. Additionally, the report highlights the largest single-site providers who are providing sizeable management services to other senior living and care communities.
