“Never discuss religion or politics” has been a truism of polite society, particularly in times where passions run hot and fast. But aversion to topics of belief may be exactly where the problem lies. Instead, an understanding of the fundamental differences and shared common threads among religions is our best hope for getting people from those faiths to work together. Through four zoom sessions, participants will be introduced to four faith traditions–Native American, Buddhism, Judaism, and Islam. We will explore the role these faiths play in giving meaning and purpose to personal and social existence.

Host: Rev. Rhonda Hainer, Pastor, St. Paul’s UCC, St. Marys, OH
